Wow , You did the same 3 X-men to start off that i did. now if only i could figure out how to post photo's, i could share mine too .i have my angel done , marvel girl needs boots and i want doc's bulkier body for beast, otherwise i bought a brock samson to use for him, but the legs are too skinny. Havok, Disco Dazzler , Nightcrawler and flashdance Rouge are all done too. working on making a famous cover falcon into a colossus.

WOW, pretty creative ideas for Iceman and the Prof.. Would never have thought of those head sculpts, but they're perfect ideas.

Bobws, great idea on using the FC Sam Wilson for Colossus. His face sculpt is SO GOOD to begin with, I used him for my 'Sal Buscema'-look YellowJacket.

Love these, especially Iceman. Using the Torch head was a brilliant move.

Thanks everybody! I'd wanted to use HT as an Iceman for a long while, just never got around to casting it... but now that I have I want to go ahead and retro sculpt the Johnny Storm version some time in the future - just like the Ollie GA AE I want to do.
As soon as I wrap up some SW and BSG parts though, I'll be on to more X-men.

                  [UPDATE]!
Got the Iceman Fabric covered: Here's Iceman 2.0 chillin with Summers. Scott wanted to get some cardio in but the danger room is down for repair (Wolvie ran a Sentinels scenario and shorted something out) - so he decided to use Logan's Anne Murray collection for some target practice. Oh those wacky kids...

Iceman's boots are a recast. I wanted to "proof-of-concept" a boot slush-mold for myself to make sure I didn't need a roto cast rig to get the toes open. This means I'll be able to finish a few other things that have been in temporary limbo (*cough, Star Wars, cough*)

So are the new Iceman boots resin? What are you using?--they look very professional.

Thanks - They're done as a two-step (though I think three step would have been better to be thicker at the toe, but these do work) slush cast. I used Micromark ColorCast resin with the usual Cast'n'Craft liquid pigment dye mixed in. They look a little more narrow because I took the mold from an original Conan boot and not DM's factory version, which is a bit thicker.

They look really great! I would not have guessed a Human Torch head would make such a nice Ice Man. Cyclops looks fantastic. Professor X is a lot harder to make than you might think. Yours is awesome!
