Super Villain Secret Hide-Out: Mr. Freeze

Something that I've wanted to do since the TV Batcave and Batgirl Apartment playsets I did....Mr. Freeze's arctic lair. If you're a fan of the '66 series, there's nods to all 3 Freezes (George Sanders, Otto Preminger & Eli Wallach).

I'm really happy with the way this one turned out...I think it might be my favorite of the small playsets I've done...simple yet effective. It's hard to tell with the flash but there's a "cold air" effect going on in the interiors. The only thing I still want to add is some maybe red celophane material for a see-thru effect "hot zone".

That's really nice. He looks right at home in there.

            To quote Otto Preminger, "Wild!"
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

                I.. LOVE.. IT..

It's gorgeous..! Excellent idea on using Freeze as a theme.. Other than Catwoman or perhaps King Tut, I can't think of a Bat-villain with a similar cool and memorable hideout.

On a separate note, I noticed the excellent '66 Batgirl on her hideout's link..:

Has anyone tried to repaint the Mego batcycle 'purple'..? Just curious. I was always looking for a nice blue version for my Batgirl, but haven't had the interest in investing..

Too many toys. Not enough space!

Very cool Anthony! I really like that. Capt Cold looks especially cool in that shot. I would have lost my mind as a kid to have had something this cool. I would never make it out of my room. Excellent job!

I think someone would be happy to see a RA Freeze.
