Secret Identities - Dr. Donald Blake/Thor

I've always wanted more Secret Identity Megos, especially this one: Dr. Donald Blake, alter-ego of the Mighty Thor.

Ever since seeing those old cartoons from the '60s of Cap, Submariner, Iron Man, Hulk and Thor I have wanted him as an action figure. The thought of having a toy that could slam his cane to the ground and change into the Thunder God sounded way too cool. So, here he is along with his nurse Jane Foster.

He is made on an original Type 2 Mego body with a shrunken 9" Mego Flash Gordon head. The doctors clothes I believe are from a Three Stooges doll but I am not 100% sure (I have had these for a long time and forgot where they came from.) Shoes are CTVT and his "cane" comes from a TMNT Splinter figure.

    ...with the Mighty Thor

Here he is with trusty nurse Jane Foster wearing a Dinah Mite Nightingale outfit sans blue cloak. Head is from thor8888 on eBay.

I hope you enjoy these simple, yet fun customs.

    As always thanks for looking.

    Peace, Love and Megos,

    Austin

Love it Austin! I've put off doing one of these for myself for years, maybe now I'll get around to it. Your idea for the doc. is perfect.
        Looking forward to next Sunday!

Very nice, Austin! I've been mulling him over, too--when you suggested Flash G, I couldn't quite picture it, but he's great!

In the '60s comics, does Blake wear an intern smock like you've used, or a consulting jacket (white suite coat)? Just curious--I do dig the smock.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I remember him mostly in a brown suit from the old cartoon if I am remembering correctly. I just thought the doctor "duds" would be a unique spin.
