Betobeto-san(ベトベトさん,Mr.Gooey)

If you've ever been walking at night and heard strange footsteps following you, only to turn around, terrified, and find nothing there, you've encountered the yōkai known in Nara Prefecture as Betobeto-san(Mr.Gooey).
It's said that if you stand to the side of the road and say, "Betobeto-san, please go on ahead," that the footsteps will stop and you can continue walking in peace,and in some versions it is said that if you don't he may slime you(as implied by his name) when he catches up to you.
Here's my Betobeto-san action figure.I sculpted his body(or actually more correctly his mouth)and his Zouri(straw sandals)from Clay.For his legs I used a pair CTVT blue legs I had in the parts bag and strung them through the sculpt with a CTVT rubber band and hooks from a CTVT teen body(from the parts bag as well).I painted the entire figure with accrylic paints and sealed with modpodge.I made the slime effect with E-6000,which I painted with water thinned acrylic green paint.

You have done such a fine job with the descriptions of the yokai in each of their posts.
Perhaps you could find a way to host them with a picture set next to the description, or even a thumbnail link to the picture sets on the boards here. It would be a pretty fun site to visit for anyone interested in folklore as well as custom figure fans.

I love the texture and how the blue goes darker in the crevices. That slime looks gross hehe.
