Ippon-datara,The one Legged Monster Black smith

    Ippon-datara
    一本ダタラ (いっぽんだたら)
    One-Legged Blacksmith
This shy monster is rarely encountered by humans, and all that is usually seen of it is a single line of huge footprints about a foot across, winding through the snowy mountains of Wakayama prefecture. Nonetheless the ippon-datara is thought to be a large human-like beast with one leg and one eye. It is also rumored to be an expert blacksmith(not sure about this part it may be a modern invention, but I like it), or perhaps the ghost of one.
Here's my Ippon-dattara action figure complete with his blacksmithing accessories.I sculpted his head from clay, and for the body I used a CTVT torso, leg, and arms, which I sculpted over with the clay.I sculpted all his Blacksmithing accessories from clay as well(the blade he's working on is tinfoil which I painted and sealed). All sculpted parts were painted with acrylics and sealed with modpodge.

                  I like all of these.
It would be neat to see customizers from around the world doing their own cultural figures in mego style!
