Konakijijii(Old man crys like a baby)

Konaki-jijii(こなきじじい,Old man crys like a baby) is often found crying in remote mountain recesses where no babies ought to be found. When a kind-hearted traveler picks this illusory child up to comfort it, the konaki-jiji reverts to its true form, increasing its weight to 50 and then 100 kan (about 188 and 376 kilograms) and crushing the life out of the unfortunate person.Konaki-jijii resembles an old man, but it first appears in the form of a baby.Although some stories report that he crushes those who hold him, other insist that he when is dropped, the person remains stunned and surprised. It is also said that if someone can hold Konaki-jiji regardless of his weight, that they will be rewarded with magical gifts.
Here's my Konakijijiii action figure.I sculpted his head from Air-dry clay over a CTVT Mad Clowns head. For the body I used a CTVT Child's body.My wife(Tomoko)made his little traditional style Babies bib from some red shorts material and his Grass(straw) cloak from some Twine rope.I converted a CTVT Robin hood staff with the clay for his staff.I painted all sculpted parts with acrylic paints and sealed with ModPodge.

Hehehehe, I'm loving these, John. These yokai are the most original customs I've ever seen, keep 'em coming
What does it say on his bib?

Thanks PM,Thomas (his bib says Kin which stands for Kintaro the title character from the Japanese folktale about a baby that has amazing strength,it is always put on the male baby bib to wish the baby has much health and strength, like Kitaro),and Cat(this is actually his true form after he has tricked someone into picking him up,before they pick him up he appears to be a cute looking baby),glade you guys like my Yokai Series.

All this series needs is some cool custom boxes for all these customs

Good idea Thomas, that would be a cool idea(maybe I can do some boxes with my Nephew's help). But if I had more money I would love to have Anthony or Mike do the boxes,I love both their work with the boxes.
