    Lord Victory

This is another Tales From Ultra City original character. Lord Victory, or Victor to his teammates, was a bulletproof, super-strong and fearless fighter for justice, liberty and all that other stuff from 30 or so years ago. His popularity spawned a world-wide fan club and lots of merchandising. However, all of that came to an end during a particularly bad alien invasion(there have been several) in which he lost his wife. During the final battle, he discovered an alien artifact supposedly powerful enough to destroy the universe. He grabbed it and was never seen again. Many think he just went into mourning and then retirement and then obscurity. Others believe he psycholgically cracked and has been studying the artifact for his own, as yet unknown, purposes.

The figure itself is a kitbash of sorts. I never really had an image of what he looked like till tonight. I dug through some shirts, pants, gloves and boots I've had sewn up and in storage and settled on this. I'm thinking I should have left the arm bands solid red now seeing the pics. Not sure why the yellow isn't coming through well...it's kinda muted.

    Scott

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I think that head is a GI Joe Duke shrink fron the incomparable BK.

I think it'd make a pretty cool Capt. Nazi...

Great figure, Scott. The washes you use in your paints, while not imo "classic Megoesque," really make the sculpts pop & add character.
