Have your Mego head cast in Vinyl Like Fleshtone flexible material!!!
I do have an Indiana Jones. But head shrinking is a VERY Long process. Usually I need about 5-10 tries on average before I get it right. I once got it one the first try.
Here's a tip: when shrinking heads (with Hydrospan) cast a number of the same head each with a different water to chemical ratio. Keep track of each head cast to each ratio used and when they are all done shrinking determine which ratio was best for the size head/scale head and write it down to use in the future.
You'll find that most 1:6 scale heads use the same ratio and so on and so forth.
Will make your life a lot easier and make things move a lot faster.
I have Lee Majors, John Saxon (maskatron) and The Arnie Kim Indiana Jones head, all Mego style on Ebay. Look under custom mego. My temp stage name is deadaliveclay
Do you have a price for off ebay, or are you only hosting auctions for these heads?
I do make about 6-7 Hydrospan (hydroshrink???) casts when I shrink. But it doesn't always work out. I am a perfectionist and that is why it takes so long. I do sell those heads i mentioned outside of Ebay. $25.00 each. email me at [email protected]
Thanks for your compliments. Remember...heat the head up only slightly with either hot water or a hair dryer just so it is slightly fl;exible to press into the meo body. It will be a one time only deal.
A for the heads...most of these heads i sell I acquired 10 years ago...nothing really new...some are..but I try to do Quality castings. I do plan in the future to shrink a Taylor (planet of the Apes) and maybe some others.. Lou Ferrigno-Hulk-Bixby,etc.
When I am grown to man's estate,
I shall be very proud and great.
And tell the other girls and boys,
not to meddle with my toys.
