The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Continuing with monster customs, this is the Lon Chaney version of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I've tried to stay with the AHI style so I used a casting of the Aurora model Hunchback head. This is typically what AHI did with their figures.

The head comes from Laurie, and painted by me. The smock is sewn by me. The shirt is an altered CTVT dress shirt and the pants are CTVT wolfman pants. I built a pillow that attaches to straps around the arms for the "hunchback" effect. I painted hair on the hands. I also made a card in the AHI style using a scan of an original AHI card (and cleaned up) and art from an Aurora box.

Wow, that's really great work! I made an 'upgraded' AHI Dracula in the same sort of style. AHI's monster characterizations were really so much greater than the sum of their cheap materials. Your revisitation of Hunchback is beautiful!
