    Here's a Gorilla from the Terror on the Planet of the Apes Marvel Magazines from the 70's. He's the Captain of a riverboat named Simian. Modified Davey Crokett outfit, Fur additions, Custom paints.

    Interesting...I'm completely unfamiliar w/ TOTPOTA, but your custom looks just like that picture, (minus the pipe).

      I'm sure it'll seem very picky, but maybe the hands should have been painted the same color as the face? I think it would just make it all flow together nicer...

          I agree about the hands. And I might put a coat of tan paint on the pipe. As said though, thats nit picking. It looks great. Is that a custom head or a modified one?
          you're really inspiring me to get my 1:6 versions going!

            IM thats a corncob pipe...hense the yellow and pine handle. Hands are now grey.

                      I understand taht, and it does look very mego. But Popeye had a corncob pipe as did so many others and its more of a tan color. No biggie.
