Classic Wildcat

THis guy has always been a favorite of mine since early childhood reading Brave and Bold Comics. I've always been partial to this version with the fingerless gloves. I don't know at what point they introduced the wrist wraps, but I'm not a huge fan of them.

Anyway, at first glance you'd think this is an easy figure to make. I thought so too. I used a Zica body, so getting a nice, form-fitting suit was a little tough. I sculpted a little more onto his shoulders to accomodate a neck plug too small for the hole and added my own version of boot feet.

If you want to tighten up the suit a bit to show off the muscles use a binder clip in the back on the waist. Pinch the fabric together, pulll back so it is tight around the waist and attached the clip. Make sure you use a small oneso you can't see it in front.

I too remember learning about the character in an old Brave and the Bold comic...the one where he had the poison mace type boxing gloves and had to fight Bats. I also read an old Golden Age comic one of my uncles had sitting in his camper when I was a kid. The original Golden Age character was a tough customer. Sometimes he had big cat feet, others he didnt, but he never had the taped up hands till the eighties at the earliest.
