Just In Time For Halloween-the Creature Commandos!

Hey Guys, I've been waiting to spring these guys on you for a bit, but
I just had to hold back for Halloween
McKenzie Mckustoms newest line features custom Mego style figures of The Creature Commandos! As a kid I remember picking up an old issue of Weird War Tales from a squeaky spinning rack in a local store. I was instantly in love...Monsters+Soldiers=AWESOME!! Over the years I always hoped someone out there would make some action figures based on The Commandos, but nada...............Well, all these years later I decided to make some myself The first two characters in the line are Velcro (the vampire), and Taylor (The Frankenstein Monster). I have plans to finish the line eventually, I have way too much on my work bench at the moment. All packaging work and figure customizing by yours truly. I hope you enjoy and, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Visit my blog for more images from this line.

What a fantastic idea for a line, well executed

            That's really cool.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

They look out of this world! GREAT craftsmanship sir.

Maybe you could do an Unknown Soldier in the future - my best friend Jim introduced me to that character as well as Jonah Hex when we were kids.

I wasnt aware of the Jonah Hex 'film' until recently. Ughhhh...having seen a commercial and some pictures in Toyfare, I'm wishing that I was still unaware.
Poor Hex, after 40 years of crackin heads and getting the scumbags he gets a movie that looks to be more of the usual HollyWood junk.

                        Excellent Work!

I have a "Weird War Tales" comic book that my Uncle gave me with a Joe Kubert covert art.
Need to dig that up again from storage in the Attic back home.
