My First Non Mego Custom Warning:Picture Extensive

I've been away from the custom world for a few years mainly because of time. I've done figures but I really enjoy doing the vehicles. A few of you have seen some of the vans I've done but here's something different. I picked up a 21st Century AH-6 Little Bird a couple of months ago at a garage sale for $1. They just wanted it gone and out of their garage. It was missing a rear rotor but that was an easy fix. The first pic are of a few of the vans I've done in the past for those who haven't seen them. The next couple of pics are not mine but show what I started out with. Hope you all like!

BTW, my all time favorite toy could be the GI Joe Skyhawk hang glider. I have vivid memories of my dad and I buying that at the "dime" store and flying it in the alley behind our house. Never worked that well, but it sure was cool looking.

You got it for a buck? Makes me want to cry when I think what I paid for one when they were new. Always wanted to make a Mego Batcopter out of it, but at the original purchase price, I cant bring myself to touch it.

Just needs a DiDa Adventure Team Repro HQ and/our Helipad, C'mon Scott, make a Dida in 1/6 scale for all us GI Joe AT enthusiats. The original HQ was a Vinyl over cardborad construct with some hard plastic pieces for support...That is if we can pull you out of Dhrma 'ville
