Supergirl v2.0

It was almost a year ago that I did my first custom Mego where I actually sewed the costume and everything. It was Supergirl. Years before that I had picked up a Dinah that was naked and I had always intended to make her Supergirl. Now that I've been doing lots of sewing and even moved from doing things by hand to a machine, I decided to redo her costume. (Also I had all kinds of metalic red left over from making a Supergirl cape for my niece to wear. I also made her a Batman cape). This is my first time doing pleats as well. The blue is like a onesie and the skirt is its own piece as is the cape. The S will be glued on but for now its just taped.









and just for fun, my sewing machine with the material used to make the Supergirl and Batman capes. I'll put up pics of those another time as they turned out well and my niece loved them!



Kara's old outfit. I'm not going to discard it as I still like it but I like my new one more.

Very, very nice work. I love the vibrancy of the shiny red material. I know that stuff is tough to sew, so you did well.

Now, I would like to see you take some pics without all the scenery as it's a distraction. You make this neat figure and then you cover her up with folliage and other backyard items. Your work needs to stand on it's own, and your work on Sueprgirl is fantastic. Show it off, dude.
