ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS ANTHONY! STUNNING!!!! I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT THE FAMOUS MONSTER COVER ART WOULD BE GREAT FOR MEGO -ESQUE BOXES.
I often toyed with the idea of using it myself, but when I started doing obscure characters (like Black Sabbath and The Raven), I realized it wouldn't work because they would never get a cover feature on FM. It woould only work for the "Big 6" (or 8)
One question: How come you kept the Blood spatter Universal Logo for "Mego" toys from the 70s? That clearly dates it to 90s I would have thought you'd use a generic Universal City Studios logo from the 70s. Not criticizing, mind you. Just intrigued by the artisitc choice. I often make "Incorrect" choices like that on my own boxes simply because I think it works better overall.
I love seeing all these people doing monsters now!
