Star Trek The Animated Series: The alien Klingon Custom Figure

As has been mentioned before and as you can see by the screen caps pictured, the Mego Klingon was obviously based mostly on the animated version.
To turn a Mego (or EMCE) Klingon figure into an animated version required mostly an updated paint job. Brown shirt and pants to dark gray and vest to purple but it also required a few special additional custom touches as well:

Capt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"
Mr. Spock: "I am not aware of anyone who fits that description, Captain"
Capt. Kirk: "No, Mr. Spock, I didn't think you would be"

Looks pretty cool. And if you ever decide to do the cartoon Gorn the Mego lizard head would work pretty good from the looks of things.

Hmmm...I don't know, from the looks of it I would say a total custom head sculpt would probably be the best way to do it. Not the easiest I agree but probably the best way to get it more screen accurate:

Looks more like an alligator head in TAS than the original Gorn we have come to love from TOS

He does look more like an alligator in those last pics, sorta looked like a lizard in that first pic

Hmmm...I wonder if there was ever a Disney 8" scale alligator made as the head might work?

Naah, probably in the end it would still be easier and better to just sculpt my own

Great job and well executed! That is an awesome idea.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Honestly, I was thinking, "What an unnecessary custom!"

But now that I see him, very cool!!
