LOST - Backer Card Reimagined
As a fan of LOST, I was excited when I heard of BBP's new line of figures but was admittedly disappointed when I saw the card art. I have never been a fan of using the actual action figures to represent the artwork for the characters (HATED when CTVT did it) . I prefer the "Mego Method" of illustration or actual photos.
Knowing I'd at least be purchasing a John Locke figure, I thought I'd dust off the old LOST card I designed several years ago when I thought I was going to do some customs (this was even pre-McFarlane figures
, may have even been 1st Season I think) and tweak it a bit...
Unfortunately, I discovered that the original files have since been trashed...but I still had pics of the finished cards:
After seeing them again I realized it wasn't going to work...BBP was going with a different assortment of characters than I had originally envisioned for my custom line.
So back to the drawing board as they say....Voila:
