He Looks Great, i was just looking over my original Marvel handbook A volume and was thinking what characters would be cool to make and besides the obvious: Angel, Ariel and Aurora i thought El Aguila would be a real fun one to make! Now here he is , Great JOB!!!!

This is the second in the series of forgotten, disrespected and generally obscure characters. In doing this custom I learned two things about myself.

1. I am the only idiot in the Mego customizing world who would actually spend time, effort and material on such an unknown nobody as El Aguila.

2. I can't sculpt.

This guy had a couple of appearances in Powerman and Iron Fist in the very early 80's. Since that was my favorite book at the time, I remember him fondly. He's a Spanish swashbuckler and womanizer. He had the mutant ability to channel electricty, specifically through his sword. Scarlet Witch de-powered him, so now he works at Cosco. I attempted to sculpt the mask on top of a Super Friends Aquaman head. My original plan was to find an Iron Fist head and give him a stache, but I had to have the goofy smile.
