I like him! That cheesy grin reminds me of one of the old Sinbad flicks, back before Ray Harryhausen became involved with the special effects.

Makes me think of Douglas Fairbanks Jr. for some reason.

The character, whose name means the Eagle, stirred up some controversy within the Hispanic community. It wasn't for his speech pattern or forced accent, but rather for his background story. He is from Spain, but his hometown was drawn as a stereotypical run down Mexican villa complete with sombreros and goats. WHile not intentionally racist, it did get more than a few complaints. Perhaps the artist took a few liberties or was too lazy to research Spain.

Anyway, he's a cool character that deserves more exposure.

It's hand-sewn. That was my first attempt at making a shirt with a collar.
