Ok I really did not intend this to be my first finished custom....But my oldest granddaughter ( She's 8 ) spent the weekend with me and my wife...to make a long story short she is a STAR WARS nut just like old grandpa, we had a marathon STAR WARS viewing...so she ask me to try a Darth Vader...anyway with some spare parts I had ...Doc.Mego body, Doc Mego black suit, Doc Mego gloves, Pez head,and I totally destroyed ( sorry Marvel fans ) a 9 inch Dr Doom for the armor...I have another...oh yea Doc Mego boots that have been blended with the upper part of Dr Dooms boots for effect and Grandmother did the cape and under robe...anyway this is for Eden my first grandbaby......

I know it's been done before, but we had fun with it...used sanded down Legos for the chest piece and belt pieces...then applied the stickers I made on the computer...thanks

That's a perfect example of using all the available suppliers and resources. You definitely have a customizing eye and will do awesome in the hobby. The key to any customizer, or artist really, is to see something and visualize something else. You saw LEGO pieces and thought about Vader's belt. That's the sign of an artist.

I look forward to seeing more form you. That's certainly miles better than my first POS custom. Great job.

Thanks folks for all the comments...I need to see if Anthony has a Box for him!! Being a child of the late 60's and 70's my grandkids think it's cool that their grandparents love these toys as much as they do...lol..
