    I've been catching up on a lot of sewing, sculpting and painting as they're easier on the shoulder than casting... So I finally got around to painting the Thor mod I did for Prof X. Yay!

    My first official finished X-Men custom (of several no doubt):



    Recipe parts:
    Jakks wheelchair
    Pengy/Waltons shoes
    CTVT Herman Munster jacket, pants
    CHiPs socks (cut off)
    WOZ Wizard shirt (cut from vest, pants, collar repositioned - resewn into Munster pants to make back-buttoning onsie)
    Red vinyl tie (probably to be replaced when I get a thinner vinyl I like)
    Resin cast Thor head = Sculpted new eyebrows in, finished out top of head (left large for mego-goodness)

          Did you cast in a flesh color? Looks nice and smooth that way.

                  ^^ A-Yup. I always prefer to color-cast, like I do with the Darth heads. I even re-mold other heads I get to recast them in color. I did that with the excellent BASA 6MDM head that BK has on tap -

                              It's actually a CTVT Married With Children bowling outfit... I keep meaning to seam pull everything on it to make a sewing template and re-make one in red, but I haven't gotten around to it. Bodies and such aside, CTVT actually put out some surprisingly good stuff... you just have to dig to find it.
