The yellow glove idea interested me. I've been stumped as to what to do about the gloves. I did consider painting her hands yellow at one point.
I've also started making my own box in Illustrator.
In the beginning, Pinion is the Apprentice (she doesn't care for word Sidekick) to a Superhero named Dragon Spirit. In my universe he's the best of the best. But he's a bit of a jerk because he's been fighting crime since the "Golden Age" and he's become jaded. It took some convincing to get him to train her. She used the "I'm a danger to myself and others" card. Which wasn't entirely true but sometimes you have to go with whatever works.
She is a human sound amplifier and manipulator. In my studies of sound I discovered you can do a great many things with it. It can be really powerful. She can also fly and has some decent moves in the fighting department.
So now she's a high school student by day and a hero in training at night. Then Dragon Spirit gets himself killed and the whole city erupts into chaos (which is where my story will start in the comic).Comment
