Boxes showed up today from Anthony... WOW. First wave being sent out today... Variant warrior with custom screened suit will debut next week. I really like this one, if I do say so myself.
*bows down to Sandy* You've done Sid and Marty and all us Krofft fans proud!
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
Very impressive!Who's doing the suits? I love the scale pattern.
That particular suit is a Creature From the Black lagoon suit from Austin Hough. It's what I used for the first 5 figures made. The "variant warrior" suit is a custom made sleestak pattern, designed by Ed Nagy. Both are VERY cool... I just like to mix things up a bit and try different things. Anyone who orders any version of this figure is going to faint when they get it. The entire package is simply stunning. I'm very fortunate to have so many talented people in here to help with these projects and provide resources. These figures are truly a team effort.
Enik's suit in the show, was a different pattern from the warriors, as well as obviously being brown. I'm still working on that one. He'll be ready soon.
"Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."
I don't know if this has ever been mentioned, but I just realized something pretty cool. Sandy worked with Andrew Koenig on Batman: Dead End, and Andrew's father Walter Koenig wrote the episode that introduced the character of Enik on LOTL. (The Stranger)
