    Dr. Doom

I have been spending some time learning new method on how to better my sculpts and during that time I managed to create a new armor that fits and moves perfectly with a Dr. Mego body. The rest of the parts came from Dr. Mego except the armor which I created and sculpted by hand...

Neat. Is the armor flexible..or jointed?

My new Dr. Doom's body/armor is designed to be jointed at the knees; to bend his knees and waste along with his arms that move like a normal mego along with his hands. Basically anything a MEGO figure can do as far as movement wise, I have altered the armor to keep him from losing any flexibility. It was a pain in my butt aligning up all the Magic sculpt piece by piece, smoothing it over with sandpaper after it hardened, painting it and adding the sealing touch to lock it all into one place.

To achieve this look, I took apart the Dr. Mego figure and sculpted over his arms and legs and then put him back. The Magic Sculpt is simply amazing and dries fast and hardens completely around the areas that I molded them around. There is no loss of anything.

I also did the same to an Ironman figure (somewhere buried on the other page) and I am going to do it to a War Machine next week. Yes, it is not "Mego-like" but I think/believe that armored heroes/villains should look like they are wearing armor not cloth outfits and with much help from various members on here with tips and ideas; I have finally came up with making characters with armor and also using Magic sculpt to "beef up" some heroes that need it like Batman, Captain America and Superman.
