    Charles McNider, aka Doctor Mid-Nite

Next in the JSA lineup is Doctor Mid-Nite. The head is a resin copy of Captain America, sanded and modified with Magic Sculpt. He's on a T1 body, with clothes sewn by me, and Plasti-Dip gloves. The belt is just an old one I had in my parts box and the boots are from CTVT. Hootie was originally YoYo, from the DC Direct Tim Hunter figure. The moons on the tunic are electrical tape. I hope to finish more of the team over the next week or so, so keep an eye out!
There was a lot of glare in the pics, so I tried to adjust them, but it's hard to tell if that worked, as my monitor is on the fritz. I'll try and get some outside photos soon.

Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

Brilliant minds must think a like! I did the same thing not to long ago. I got this really cool looking owl for about five bucks at Hobby Lobby with his wings all spanned out getting ready to flap off in full detail.
I love how you did the Plastic Dip on the gloves along with the same boots that I used. Very nicely executed mego of a classic hero.

Remember, if you modify a vinyl head, you need to slice open the bottom of the head by the cork and then pack the head full of soft clay and then when you feel the head is full, glue it back shut. Otherwise with a vinyl head if you bump or squeeze it all your magic sculpt will crack or fall off. I learned that trick from an old friend on here.

Now that you have an Isis, you have to get yourself a Black Adam to go with her. She looks lonely without her lover.

The reason I used the specific owl I did is because he has a magnet molded inside him. It allowed him to perch on the shoulders of the DCD figure he came with. There is a small magnetic strip hidden inside the gloves I made, keeping him posed nicely.

I used a resin copy of the Cap head to sand and add detail.
