    El Chapulín Colorado

    ¡No contaban con mi astucia!

I've had this one kicking in the back of my head for a while...

All kids growing up in spanish speaking households have fond memories of El Chapulin Colorado!

For those that are unfamiliar :

Now, here he is... in Megoish style as only a lazy customizer can do:

    "¡Síganme los buenos!"

Yes, he even has his "chipote chillón" (Mjolnir-like squeaky hammer!) although in reversed colors.

Hard to get the antennae to show up in the sun... made with high quality twistyties, as lazy as can be...can't beat me.

I feel ignorant, but I've never heard of him, however it looks like you nailed it pretty well. Nice job.

NO FRIGGIN' WAY!!!! I can't believe this was made. I wanted to make one too. YES!!! I love the show and grew up watching it.
For those who don't know him, he is whom the The Simpsons character, the Bumblebee Guy, is based on.
        Anna, YOU KICK *****!!!
I'm stilling going to make one someday and I want it in a box.

Are you going to do El Chavo Del Ocho? He's my other favorite. Chespirito had some great characters.

Thanks for the kind words. Ever since I saw that head, I knew he'd be a Chapulin.

I remember having the Chapulin Colorado appear at one of my early birthdays (instead of a clown or something) and I thought this would be a funny custom. Granted it was an older cousin that dressed up like him, but giver her credit, she appeared on the roof of the house and cried:
Más ágil que una tortuga, más fuerte que un ratón, más noble que una lechuga, su escudo es un corazón... ¡Es el Chapulín Colorado!
And the kids nearly peed themselves!

Now, if I can find the pieces I need for a Chavo Del Ocho, I'll love to make him... but I believe I may be working on El Chompiras and Botija (the two burglers) since the outfits are an easier find.

I tell you, this mego head lends itself really well for a various characters, doesn't it?
