        Guys you can get chain mail from those vintage purses...look on Feebay for vintage metal purses...there's two different kinds, the kind that looks like coins bound together (that's not the one to get) or the one that looks like it's knitted. This fire genasi is 12 inches tall. I think the metal purses will also work with Mego scale--you just have to look at how fine that weave is.

        As for a tutorial for the flaming hair? It's just hot glue dripped onto the head..turn it upside down and let the glue do its thing. Keep thinking flame flame flame...

        This was such a fun project that I'm going to make another fire genasi...I have already mutilated a 12 inch head for it...and I'm thinking of putting in a lighted source (miniature flashlight) in the head.

          I've never seen that character before, and honestly have no idea who he is, but that figure is simply stunning. The attention to detail is amazing and I absolutely love the head sculpt. That flaming hair is... well... Hot.
