    Thanagarian Weapons

I have been working on a series of weapons for Hawkman. Such as Maces that won't fall out of their hands. They have groves cut into the handles and tiny straps to keep the mace in the hands of the 8" doll.

I know this probably sounds stupid and it will probably make a good joke topic on somewhere But I guess I was sick of my custom Hawkman always dropping his mace when I had him posed up in the Hall of Justice or set up on a wire flying over the trophy room.

These are just a few weapons of have been crafting. If anyone is interested in anything like this let me know. I am a big Hawkman fan I just got tired of it. Probably the only one on this board.

If you are signed in here. Just click on the picture to blow it up so you can get an in depth look. I may not be Joe-Custom but I have always been able to make cool things with clay. I decided to make good use of it. Starting with my favorite super hero.

Smaller mace. I redesigned a smaller Dr. Mego mace for a more "feminine" mace look. The black handle is cut up and grooved the same way.

The shield is my creation. I made it more "war-like" I will probably add a Hawkman logo onto it or some rivets. I just wanted to make a war like shield for Hawkman to go into battle. I am working on one for a villain called the Taskmaster later on.

Pretty basic setup if any of you sculptors want to take the idea. I'm not into this business to make money. Notice the grove and the strap around the handle where the hand goes. The strap at the bottom is just something extra I added for a look. I has no meaning.

Not silly by any means WD Your idea is practical, and smart. Weapons that fall out of action figures hands is probably one of the biggest pains in the a@# for us collectors who display our loose figures. Well done Man
