Thanks for all the kind words everybody! Here's his (incredibly longwinded) back story, which concludes by revealing the name of the hero to this tale.
Kargon is a ruthless dictator from the planet Valcior, a planet inhabited by both humanoids and a race known as Wisps. A legend was passed down for many years amongst the Wisps, a legend of a Wisp who tried to inhabit the body of one of the humanoids, and in the process was killed, along with the humanoid. It was a cautionary tale, told so that no Wisp would ever touch a humanoid, for fear of death. It worked in creating peace for many millenia; this was a planet that knew not of war. One Wisp, known as Kar, was intrigued by this tale. He thought that this may be used as a way to create the ultimate being. He chose the most intelligent and powerful of all the humanoids, the leader of Valcior, Gon, as the one he would fuse with. During one of Gon's speeches to the people, coming from behind, Kar touched the head of Gon, igniting it instantaneously in a blaze of green fire, as the crowd of thousands screamed in horror. The two minds fused, and in the process created a hideous creature bent on total domination. The creature, now known as Kargon, quickly became ruler of the defenseless planet. Soon, other Wisps followed suit and fused with humanoids for fear of death at the hands of Kargon, effectively creating an army for the evil dictator. Soon becoming discontent with only ruling the planet of Valcior, Kargon questioned the possibility of invading and conquering the nearest planet. Within forty years, Kargon and his army conquered a good portion of his galaxy. Today he is beginning the invasion of a new planet, but he didn't count on one thing; a fight, led by none other than the great Wayne Brighton.
Damn, that took a while to figure out all the details to that and write it.
