My Swamp Thing Redo

I made one of these before and got some good feedback for some improvements. See if this one's any better. I like the material for the suit better. It looks more Mego-y and more swampy. For some reason I'm having problems photographing the colors to be accurate. Can't seem to get enough light to make the green in the suit pop.
I liked my brother's sculpt on the Swamp Thing head, but I wanted to make him less of the movie character and more of the comic book style. So I bugged out the eyes and added the swamp thing ridge that surrounds his mouth.

I think you can get even closer with the suit pattern. Finding it in a atretch will be hard. Also Theres always screen printing.

Just offering the critique because I love teh spirit of teh guy and teh sculpt is FUN!!!

Just had an idea!!! How about just dying the suits white parts to be the same color as the head and hands . I think that would NAIL it!

Thanks. I think my brother was watching the first swamp thing movie and decided to sculpt the head. I altered it to make it look more like the comic character. I like the pattern I used for the costume. It looks very swampy and still has a Mego type feel to it. I'm happy with it.

Great reworking! I like the screened-type suits in the right context & it works well here. The mouth changes really say "Swamp Thing" for me.

That's what I mean for megostyle! your custom is more megoish than a mego !
Anyway...the old bodysuit wasn't bad at all...I can't really choose betwenn the two..both nice and megolike

He looks WAY better Todd ! The first one seemed a bit more " mummy" and less "swampy".
The new fabric looks great !
