The dress shoe thingies are called spats.

He is NICE. Clean, sharp and finely detailed.

No loose threads or mismatched seams anywhere, and I love the details on the hands.

          Totally Brilliant.

I gotta agree. I hope if Joker is in the next wave someone at Mattel is looking here. Would think this figure would be a top seller. Great job.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

^ I don't think Mattel's would look as good as this one

Of course the Mattel version won't look as good. They will be looking to be as cheap as possible, and will skimp on stuff like lined jackets, actual spats, socks, etc.

We, as customizers, can put as much time, detail and money into a figure as we want, because it's OUR money, and we don't necessarily make any kind of profit from it.

Mattel and other companies ARE looking to make a profit and they will do so by skimping on certain details, like well sewn suits, faces that don't turn grey, and rubber bands that don't snap.

Okay, I'm being VERY pessimistic and cynical about this, and it probably won't happen.

                        Emphasis on probably.

I'll wait for the new figs to come out, and then pass judgement.
