    Doctor Mid-Nite

    Let the JSA customs begin.

Actually, I did a Wildcat last year so technically this is my second Society custom.

I modified a Batman head and sewed the rest. I was wanting to use a heavier material for the cape like a crushed velour for draping, but it didn't work out so well. This material frays and has little bits that fall off on the edges. Any fabric suggestions are welcome as I'd like to replace this cape. I attempted to make some suede boots for him, but all my patterns ended up being too small and I used up all my suede.

Oh yes! A classic character indeed! Nice job! I love the little moons. That craft foam? That is what I should have done. I painted mine on...

HE looks really nice. I like that outfit. There is some liquid stuff you can use on fraying material, but I haven't used it. Those boots work fine, but I'd love to see you pull off a matching pair in suede like the gauntlets.

One of the coolest Dr. Midnite's I've ever see. I like the use of suede and I think suede boots would make this great custom look even greater

Excellent, and yeah leather boots would really make him perfect. As far as the velour fraying, you'll have to hemm it or try some fray stop.

I suggest microsuede. It has a nice hand, drapes beautifully and can be machine washed.

Nice figure BTW. Very nice and clean looking.
