    Custom Lone Ranger and Tonto

A few months ago I commissioned a custom Lone Ranger and Tonto plus Silver and Scout from a gentleman named Ben Molina. Ben is a long standing member of the Lone Ranger fan club and has spent years making custom 12" western figures, many times even having the likeness of the actor they portray.

As a member of the Lone Ranger fan club myself I was touched by a story of Ben making a custom likeness of John Hart playing The Lone Ranger and presenting it to him on his birthday. John Hart's portrayal of The Lone Ranger was always my favorite as a child and to this day The Lone Ranger is still my hero.

The long and short of this story is Ben creating the two heroes of the west with their animal companions. These figures were Ben's first endeavor into the 8" western scale. Of course no custom figure is complete without packaging from Anthony at Toyroom. Anthony created the custom cards using a combination of his archived artwork, stories on the back written by both Ben and myself, and his own unique creative talent.

Thanks to Ben and Anthony for making these figures and rekindling a part of my childhood.

I love the cards and figures for the Red Ryder and Durango Kid. Now we need Red Mask and Billy the Kid.

Red Mask looks to be next in line. Have to save up a buck or two after all the Christmas spending Wish me luck, and thanks for your kind words.

How much do they cost you to do. Maybe I could pay for yours if you put me on together as well.
