James and I got back into our groove recently on a project, our first in a couple/three years.
I started a new job over the summer and have a pretty cool group I work with. They "get" my toy thing and I have a bunch of stuff all over my office.
A joke was made about how cool it would be to create an Action Figure of the guy who owns our company. He's an energetic guy, always on the go. So we created the "Steve Hanson: Man of Action" figure.
He comes complete with his camera and iphone. James did the sculpt, and I made the shirt, camera, phone and did the paints.
The entire video department contributed to the project and presentation last night at our company Christmas party. We actually made a commerical. One guy shot it, one edited, one guy sang a theme song, and the audio guy mixed it and created a ringtone for all our phones. The script was done by our writer. One of the producers designed card art.
So I got to work with James on a project, then turn that Mego project into something my entire office got involved in. We had a blast with it, and showed it at the party last night. It was a riot and the boss was left speechless, and from what I hear, that's not an easy thing to do. Seriously, do I work with cool people or what?
So while I know the subject matter wont excite anyone here, it was such a blast that I have to post the project here. I present the first McDunsel in years, Steve Hanson: Man of Action.

I'll get the commercial posted eventually. It's a rushed and crappy piece in old Mego style, which was perfect really.
