I did include this in a bunch of pics I posted at once when I joined the site and introduced myself, but I never did an individual post. I made it over a year ago, but improved it a little since then. I made a new tunic. The original had green fabric that was too dark. I found lighter green fabric that matches the cape and looks more like the comics. I figured I'd get this up here since maybe NuMego will give us an official one soon. In the age of 3D heads, a basic Doom is easy to do, as long as CTVT keeps certain items in stock. Made on a type 2 body with a grey bodysuit, 3D head from Ebay, CTVT hooded green cape, and Grey Iron Man gauntlets and boots. Made the belt. I would have preferred a chain mail suit, but they were all gone. Some like a more armored look, but I went the Iron Man look, keeping the plastic to a minimum. Good for a loose one, even when the "real one" comes out, so I can keep that one boxed.

This is actually what I would of expected from Mego in the 70s. Maybe with the metallic mesh suit.

You might have a second Doom figure soon !
