Forgotten Prisoner of Castel Mare

This was a custom of opportunity. I just put it together yesterday. You can thank/blame Megotastrophe for this one. I saw his post about 8 inch skeletons at Walmart for Halloween. I was in Walmart yesterday, and decided to get them, in case they would be useful. I was thinking of what I could make with one, and the Prisoner came to mind. I always saw the ads for the Aurora model kits in DC back issues from the 60s that I had. The picture for the Forgotten Prisoner always fascinated me. I was never into models or crafts until this whole customizing thing (now I can't stop). The body was easy, just make tattered clothes out of scrap cloth I had. I put blood stains on the arms, imagining that as he starved, he would start gnawing his own flesh. It adds to the horror of the scenario. When the tum tum starts rumbling, people will do some extreme things. The chains are jewelry chains. I printed some pictures of dungeon walls on paper and glued them to some cardboard for the background. This is the first "set" I've done. I'm surprised how good it looks. I made the shackles from cardstock, and painted them silver. If you guys do Halloween customs, consider this a first entry. I put the Reaper in one Pic, as he claims the Prisoner's soul.

I remember The Aurora model, never got it, was more into the Godzilla and King Kong ones.

This custom is near perfect, I will be going to my local Walmart soon to grab a couple of Skeletons, which will work well for one of my Star Trek custom episodes set ups.

Yes, how did you guess? I have customs of Silva and Korob, so maybe I can pick up a couple of skeletons and recreate a scene or two from the episode for Halloween.

I'm probably almost as big as Trekker as you. It's funny, my boss in work is a woman, buy she's a huge Trek fan too(she had a crush on young Shatner). We have deep conversations about Trek when I should be working. Helps on performance reviews.
