If Daredevil, Ghost Rider, and Dr Doom were the holy trinity of Mego wants, Luke had to be a close fourth. I know many customizers have already done a figure of Marvel's super Shaft, and now so have I. I'm branching out from Trek bodies to Stewart bodies. Essentially John Stewart redressed. I got a yellow shirt from Ebay. I found some blue scrap cloth that looked the perfect shade for the pants. Painted a small patch on the right hand to get rid of the ring. I also painted the green eyes brown. The tiara is made from the thick printer paper I use for my logos. It has the thickness of card stock. I cut the tiara, glued it in back, then painted it with metallic silver. The cuffs are white vinyl also painted silver. The boots are an extra pair of Black Vulcans I had.

It's actually from a set of colored electrical tape I got from Home Depot. The tape is vinyl. I stick two sides together, to get rid of the sticky, then tape both ends to make the cuffs. They can then slide off the wrists if you want. If you don't plan on taking them off, you can just wrap them around the wrists, leaving the sticky side down. They paint up nicely with the silver paint I got. Two coats seems to do it. 87 cent metallic nickel acrylic from Target.Comment
