I had the originals when I was a kid, and I have two sets of the reproductions from 2005. Of course the repros have never been touched, and I've read about how fragile they are, and I don't think twenty years has done them any favors. I wanted some loose ones, but the prices on originals and repros are too prohibitive for that. With this in mind, I've tried making customs as close as I can. I've put my own spin on them, but I think they're decent. For Dracula, I used a Trek body with ideas from Tomb of Dracula and Hammer. I made the cape collar like the TOD one. I dressed him in all black like the Hammer Drac. On the face, I tried doing a mustache like TOD. I then added a little chin beard. The red "triangle" under the neck is supposed to represent a ascot. I even gave him a Dracula "crest" on the right chest. For Frankenstein, I used another Trek body. I gave him a long black coat like the Hammer one. I made his shirt out of a mustard colored fabric. In certain light, it looks gold. I made a waist chain out of paperclips. I glued pieces of the clips on his forehead for the electrodes. I also gave him painted gold cuffs. For the mummy, I wrapped him in the same fabric I used for Frankenstein 's shirt. I put on strips of white to try to suggest the pattern on the original bodysuit. I gave him an Egyptian collar and silver cuffs made from painted vinyl. The Wolfman was all CTVT parts. A brown body, fur bodysuit, and wolf feet. I got the head from CTVT too. I think I got the last one. I just made some tattered blood stained clothes. I have a group shot atop the hamper of doom.
