Lurks in the shadows, hides in the park, Simon, Simon, Simon Dark.If you're good he'll stay away. If you're bad he'll make you pay. Part of a Gotham nursery rhyme, that's where the character gets his name. Created by Steve Niles and Scott Hampton. There's an evil magical cult in Gotham(of course). One of the members with medical knowledge creates Simon from parts of twenty teenage boys. Simon becomes the protector of a section of Gotham called the village. He works against the cult, and crime in general. He has Frankenstein super strength and Wolverine healing. He can also shapeshift his face to look like any of the boys he's made from, to blend in temporarily. Later from reading the cult's mystical books, he gains the ability to work magic. I wanted to bridge the two genres that made Mego famous, horror and comics. Made from, you guessed it, a Trek body. I did the head. In the comics, his face looks like Leatherface's mask. I couldn't do that look, but I tried to make it crusty looking. Made the overcoat. The buttons are from a bead set, painted gold. The shirt is red material. I drew the lines with a Sharpie. I kept the Trek pants, since they're black and blended in.

Very good on Simon, it works well with the tattered ragdoll appearance.

Was not familiar with this character, but its a very cool looking and creative custom, nice work.
