I made a Rambo custom a few years ago from his appearance in the film First Blood. The custom utilized the vintage first release of the 80s Coleco figure head on a modern bandless Mego body.
I had wanted to make Trautman for a bit now but the uniform always confounded me... until CTVT released a bunch of jumpsuits...
Warhawk was actually completed years ago. The uniform was easy enough, but the belt and sash was the pain to find. SO...I got creative and layered different pieces together..
I than figured, well...if I'm making Trautman and Warhawk... might as well update Johnny as well. I REALLY liked his look in Rambo 2 and luckily was able to find a pair of black cargo pants from a Playing Mantis Action Jackson figure. I had to fold the back over itself because if fit kind of big on the modern Mego body, but I think it looks OKAY!. Luckily the belt and knife sheath from the Coleco figure was flexible enough to fit on around the waist.
