Custom Submariner

This guy's usually one of the first customs people do, but I just got around to him. I've had the body done for about two weeks, but the head just came today. Painted it up and Imperius Rex, done. Built on a vintage type two body. The belt and gauntlets are yellow vinyl, painted gold. Found a picture of angel wings on the net, shrunk it down, and printed them on photo paper. Glued to the ankles with E600 glue. Made the trunks. The head by Reliving the Past, painted by me. Borrowed the trident from my Daimon Hellstrom figure, for the pics. Used a seashell as the buckle. I saw a pinup of him once with the shell buckle. Think Byrne drew it. Put him in a Pic with Cap and the Torch. The Torch is my FF one, but can stand in for Jim Hammond. Timely Comics Big Three.

Nicely put together.

You are right, its usually a first custom. I remember using a Spock head for mine.

Like your wings. I always wanted to do his full bleu suit.

Cool custom, and “yes” Sub Mariner was my first custom using a Spock head on a Robin body with the green trunks.
