Wanted to make this guy, since I already did Dr's Destiny and Light. The costume was hard, since the material I used was thin, and didn't cut right. Didn't want to use anything different since I liked the colors. I did a combo of Bronze Age and modern. Modern artists depicted him as more mechanical, so I wrapped bands of a different material around his legs to try to simulate the metal rings artists draw today. I know in the past they were just stripes, but now they're drawn as metal. I included the chest harness or whatever you call it and the belt with the A because I liked that look. Took two tries before I got it to where I thought I could get it to look like I thought it should be. Since he's an android and a Mego, kids, Amazo has amazoing "super head punch off action", for when he fights your Mego League. With Dr's Destiny and Light, I now have a JLA villain three pack. Oh yeah, the head is a repainted green Vulcan head. Had one left over, and to paraphrase, a head is a terrible thing to waste. That's where the budget part comes in. The body is Trek. Made little fabric booties to fit over the black boots. I know Amazo is depicted as being ten feet tall, but I wanted the Mego scale. If Hulk can be short, why not Amazo? Enjoy.
