Felt that if any character deserved a Mego, it was this one. The father of the superhero action figure (sorry Mr Abrams) Captain Action. Made on (of course) a Trek body. The head is the generic adventurer from CTVT. The hat and blaster are also from CTVT. Can't hold the blaster. The costume is pieced together by me. The hook for mine is that instead of superheroes, you can turn him into Star Trek characters. Captain Action into Kirk. Retrofitting required for Uhura. Using Trek bodies for my customs, I have alot of leftovers. As an aside, I read that Ideal used the CA molds to make the Knight of Darkness figure. I still have mine. Did some minor restoration. Restring and the foil on his chest. PS, I know alot of people didn't like the head on the original. Is the head supposed to be John Wayne?
