Amazing Man and Fantom of the Fair

I've been on a roll lately. First up, Aman. Used the repro Aquaman head I had left when I did Man From Atlantis. Painted the hair black and darkened the pupils a little. The costume is a harness, belt, and trunks. The "A" is printed on heavy paper from an Amazing Man cover. Body is classic Trek. The Aquaman head looks like it could have been done on a figure in the 40s, if Aman was ever popular enough for that. I consider the Fantom to be an honorary All Star Squadron member since he haunted the grounds of the 1939 New York World's Fair, and that's where the Squadron had it's hq. The DC version with a PH first appeared in a golden age Sandman story in Secret Origins. I learned about Centaur comics and their characters later. Done on a Trek body with boots and hands painted dark blue. Made and glued a mask around a random head. Made the suit from dark blue material. The cape and belt are from red material. Some of the more obscure golden agers deserve love too.

I like these, always pleased to see public-domain and Golden-Age customs.

But I was expecting All-Star Squadron's Amazing Man, a favorite of mine.
