In honor of the new Avengers set coming out. Some have been wondering if a new Falcon is going to be made. I did this one a couple months ago. I have an original Falcon, but he's in rough shape. On a type 1 body, so he has the elastic inside. Stretched out and really loose, but I don't want to restring so I can keep him vintage. Also missing boots. Doesn't stand easily. Wanted a Falcon that could display. Saw a Pez dispenser from the last Cap movie. Was the perfect size. Decided to do a Sam-Cap figure. Not exactly comic or movie accurate, but neither was the original Cap figure. Used the CTVT Cap suit, brown body, and red boots. Put on a modern chest star. Got one of their shields, and pasted on a Pic of the original decal, and darkened the colors with Sharpies. Did the wings under the arms, kind of like the original Falcon. It's made out of material from a reusable shopping bag. Tough material. Glued under the arms. I tried hand drawing the feathers. Head is from the Pez dispenser, of course. Until a repro of the original comes out.

Nice figure! It is a simplified version of the movie version, but I agree that it fits with the Mego aesthetic. And some of your techniques take me back to playing with my childhood Megos in the best possible ways.
I did get a kick out of "Same Wilson". It sounds like something John Walker would call Sam to tease him.Comment
