Dr. Destiny, John Dee

John Dee (and I don't mean Rockefeller). Illegitimate son of arch mage Roderick Burgess. Wielder of the dreamstone of Morpheus. Sworn enemy of the Justice League of America. Nightmare of diner patrons everywhere. The man who keeps Freddy Krueger awake at night. Dr. Destiny. Since NuMego put out figures of Firestorm and Red Tornado, my League collection has grown, so I needed their villain. An underrated character, he should have been a DC arch villain like Luthor, Joker or Darkseid. Thought of making him since I did Morpheus. He came from my attempt to do my own skull for my Ghost Rider figure. A hood hides alot of mistakes. One door closes. Made on a classic Trek body. Painted the hands and boots dark blue. Comes out as black in the pics. Did the costume in light blue. Figured dark colors would make him look like a generic grim reaper. In his bronze age appearances, his outfit looked like powder blue. That's what I was going for here. Made the outfit cape and head. Think his horror design was by Dick Dillin, longtime League artist.

Not bad. I would have used FTC Skull head but the overall Dr. Destiny turned out nice
