This is the custom I'm most proud of, and the one I put the most thought in how to do. I wanted to make a Morbius for a while, but I wanted the classic Gil Kane design. I have bought 3d heads before. My Luke Skywalker, Silver Surfer, Doctor Doom and Red Skull, but all the Morbius heads looked like the modern design. I decided I would have to make one. When I got into this, I would read old posts from before 3d printing really got big. They would use modeling compounds to alter existing heads. I didn't want to get into that, but I have used old heads with characters that wear masks, like Crimson Ghost. I knew Morbius had crazy hair and I could use that to cover some of the edges. I found a picture of a Bowen bust of Morbius. I shrunk the image down on heavy paper, and glued it to the face of a Spock head. For hair, I used paint brush bristles, glued them on, and painted it black. For the costume, I got a blue bodysuit from CTVT. The wings and trim were pieces of a red reusable shopping bag from Wawa. If you guys have stores that have reusable bags, you know the material is tough. I think they're made from recycled plastic. Drew the wings freehand, cut them out, and glued them under the arms. Used a CTVT white body, and painted the nails black. Turned out well. Looks classic.
