Ironman CTVT suit.

Hello again! So, I wanted to share this if anyone was interested. CTVT is offering, more or less; a complete
bunch of Ironman items. So, I gave em a try. The suit is pretty good though I'm not happy with button placement.
Yep, gonna have to remount that. (I HATE sewing). It all on a classic Mego body. I do have an original IM head
but I decided to use a 10" TOYBIZ head instead. The colors worked pretty well.

Would I recommend these. Yeah, the price isn't too bad. Other than the button placement, the fabric and tailoring is good. The accessories are a
little too brilliant to match a vintage Mego faded and worn IM head. Wonder if they could be dulled down some way. Anyway, that my thoughts
on the matter. Hope this helps those who are interested.

Maybe you could do the opposite? By that I mean instead of trying to dull down the accessories, maybe give the faded/worn vintage Mego Iron Man head some sheen instead? I don't remember where I bought it, but there's a paint brand called Anita's All Purpose Glossy Craft Paint that has some sheen to it, I'm sure they had red & yellow available.

I’ve actually been curious too about how these CTVT hero costumes would look on the original mego bodies, and yours looks pretty good. I was thinking about picking up the CTVT Captain America outfit.
