    Big Figs Aquaman

We never got the classic Aquaman that the artwork on the Big Figs package promised us, so I have done my best to create a custom. Not perfect, but I like him!

He started off life as a Flash. I then replaced his head with a Superman 52 version (painted yellow). His right (open) hand is from a beater Batman and his left (closed fist) is from Green Lantern. The belt is a baller band with an embossed Capital V (upside down.)

And finally, here he is with his super pals! (I still need to permanently affix him to his box.) The Green Lantern is a knock off from China (slightly smaller with less articulation.) I do have a GL in the 2 pack with New 52 Superman. The single boxed Green Lantern has evaded me up to this point.

Turned out great. For some reason I did not collect this lineup and now this makes me wish I did.

Nice! He fits right in. Unfortunately these came and went and I only had a chance to get Flash. I really like them.

Looks really good. Maybe a couple of scales could add to the overall look, but truthfully this looks factory made. Nice work!

Thank you for all the positive comments! I wanted to try to keep Aquaman fairly simple as I imagined he would have looked if he had been manufactured by Jakks Pacific, so nothing too detailed or over the top (kinda like Mego.) I do really like this line (not sure what to call it - Filmation/Super Friends/Mego/Super Powers) much better than the film accurate Big Figs like Justice League, Batman V. Superman, etc.

Most all of mine come from clearance from WalMart and Toys R Us (before closing down), but I still want the single boxed Green Lantern. I know of one on the east coast of Florida, but he is too expensive!

I agree-A few scales or something to dress him up a bit more would really help knock him outta the park.

He looks good as is though.

I found some green velcro straps (soft side against figure) to attach Arthur to his box. Here's the final JLA display:

Very nice! I have Superman, Batman and Flash. I didn't even know they'd never made Aquaman. I've seen the Wonder Woman a few times, but the price was kinda nuts.

Thank you! Yes, it is amazing the price I see for Wonder Woman at toy shows ($150, $175)! I was lucky enough to get her back before Toys R Us closed its doors at retail, which I think was $20 or $22.
