Getting back to WWII in the DCU, French resistance legend Mademoiselle Marie. Made from a Jeannie head and arms on a Dorothy body, with a machine gun courtesy of eBay.

Those 12" Joes are really the main thing that prompted me to do Mego versions of Easy and company. The figures were nice, but basically just a standard Joe body and uniform with a new head. Thus, they weren't really accurate to the comics (Bulldozer had sleeves, for instance), so I knew if I got those I'd have to do some customizing. And If I was going to do that, I might as well go all the way and make a set that would fit in with the rest of my Mego DCU. I did wind up getting the Blackhawk figure and Miss Fear form that line, though,, because those actually did capture the characters correctly (not that this rules out doing the Blackhawks in 8" scale somewhere down the line...)Comment
